Biography: Panos Economou is Chair of the Department of Surgery and also Clinical Professor of Surgery University of Nicosia Medical School. He worked as a General Surgeon in Saint Anastasios Clinic/ Centre for Laparoscopic Operations and General Surgery. He was trained in the UK as a surgeon and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons FRCS (Edinburgh) (currently also a member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers) and FRCS (England) (currently also a member of the board of examiners. His research interest also includes Medical Education or Surgical Education, Software Computing.
